Schengen Visa

A Schengen visa is a short-term visa granting individuals the ability to travel to any of the countries within the Schengen Area. It permits stays of up to 90 days, typically for purposes such as tourism or business.

The Schengen visa is the most widely used visa for traveling to Europe. It allows its holder to enter, travel freely within, and depart from any of the Schengen member countries. Within the Schengen Zone, there are no border controls, making travel between member states seamless.

For stays longer than 90 days in a Schengen country, such as for work, study, or residence, you must apply for a national visa specific to that country. The Schengen Visa is only valid for short-term visits, so any long-term stay requires a visa tailored to the particular country you plan to stay in.
